Lots of Love...

Hello friends! Cheryl here today, with a card using one of the newest stamp sets just released.
I LOVE THIS STAMP SET!!! And I hope you do too. So here's my card.

I love lilacs for one thing, and for another....how great is this image?! So I got out my Tombow Markers and set out to coloring this pretty flower. I stamped the image on watercolor paper and embossed with black embossing powder. I stamped and embossed the vase on velum. I then sent it to my Brother Scan n Cut and it cut it out just perfectly. I even did it after it was all colored and it didn't make one mistake! I love this machine that much that I dare to do that, lol. I did two of them and then arranged them as I liked on the A2 sized card base.

I used a piece of paper from Lawn Fawn's Watercolor Wishes paper pad, one of my favorites!!! Great watercolor papers with no fuss, lol! I stamped and embossed the sentiment in black and scattered around a few sequins. I got out my Viva Decor pearls and dotted around a few pearls and set aside to dry. I then added the entire piece to a heavy weight cardstock base. And that was it!

So, where do you get this set? You get it here. Check it out, and so many more awesome things!

Here's what I used.

So, get your craft on and make something pretty of your own. And check out the store for some really great crafting supplies. Thanks for coming by!

Lilac Birthday Wishes - Fold Flat Vase DIY Card

Ilda here, and I'm back again today with some more inspiration for Fleurette Blooms latest release.
This time I am featuring the Lilac Dreams Stamp set😍

This stamp set is gorgeous!
So elegant and perfect for so many different occasions.
I decided I wanted to create something unique with this Lilac set. I wanted my card to look like an actual vase filled with Lilacs would.

Lilac Birthday Wishes - Fold Flat Vase DIY Card

I colored my images in using my Tombow Dual Brush Markers and then cut them out with my SnC2. Don't worry you don't need a SnC machine, Fleurette always has FREE Coordinating Digital Dies available for download with your stamp purchase.

Here is what the back of my card looks like.

I have included some pictures below to help you visualize my steps.
I also have links to all my supplies over on my →blog.

To begin I cut out 2, 2 3/4 inch circles using a Circle Die. I then sliced 1/2 inch of the bottom.
Next, I cut out the box portion of the card to measure 5 1/2 x 2 3/4 inches. Then I scored the paper at the 1/2 inch or 2 inch mark (see image).

I then assembled the box by gluing the side tab down. Once it was dry I then glued it to one of the cut circles (make sure you line up the bottom and center it on the panel).

To create the faux water look. I cut out another circle in pale blue card stock  and trimmed it like the previous ones. I then fused a plastic sleeve together in the shape of the vase to create a pocket.

Next I filled up the pocket with a few sequins for some shine and slipped the lilacs in the top opening of the pocket and glued it in place (I only glued the back of the lilacs as I didn't want any glue to show in the front. Because the paper is blocking the sequins from coming up the pocket they didn't spill out). Next I glued the other lilac bunches to the back of the blue card stock.

I then added the pocket layer to the top of my blue layer, but only gluing down the areas where the bottom of my bunch was, as I didn't want any adhesive to show. (Not shown here, but I also added a piece of vellum to the bottom half of the vase. Then I added glue only in the center where it will be hidden by the sequins). Here is what it looks like from the back all glued together.

Next I stamped my sentiment on the back panel and glued it the front panel (make sure you line up the bottom and the sides of the box when gluing it together).

Here is the finished card folded flat, which fit perfectly in a 5x7 envelope.

Have A PURR-FECT Day!

Hello there!  I am SO excited to be back on Fleurette Bloom's Design Team and glad to be crafting again!  It has been awhile!  Make sure to like her Facebook Page to see all the other wonderful ideas and products!

Here is my project for today.  I am using the NEW, adorable Purr-ific Kitty Cat Clear Stamp Set and combining it with the shadowbox from the I'm Wishing 3D SVG Kit.  The little banner flags I used come from the Hot Air Balloon SVG Project Kit.

I added a few sparkly Sequins to my project, stamped the sentiment on a banner strip, and used the bubble bath and added the yarn balls.

Here is the complete stamp set, look at all that cuteness!

A simple little project for a kitty lover and to help brighten someone's day!
Thanks for stopping by to look ~ Have a great day!

Happy PURRday Interactive Spin Card

Hello my friends Ilda here today on FB Stamps Blog!

Today I have a very cute and super fun card to share with you featuring the new Purr-ific Kitty Cat Stamp Set from FB Stamps.

The Kitty in the center spins all around the card so I thought it would be fun to add the googly eyes to make it look dizzy when you spin it.  Make sure you follow me on Instagram (I'll be posting this card in action for you all to see there 👀)

Happy PURRday Interactive Spin Card

I didn't have time to shoot and edit a video this time (sorry guys, I know its been a while since my last YT video). If you are wondering about all the products I used today check out the links over on my → Blog. Hopefully these pictures will help explain my process.

I first cut out then colored my kitty using my Zig Markers. Next I glued it on to a piece of paper that I had cut out in the shape of a drop. You will notice I punched a hole in the center of the drop. On the left side of the picture, I have my die cut top panel which randomly I stamped with the ball of yarn using  Peacock Feathers distress ink.

To create my ball of yarn, I wrapped twine around a die cut circle. I then inserted a brad in the center of the back of the ball.

Next I punched a hole where I wanted the Kitty to sit on the front panel of the card. Then I hot glued the Kitty to the back of the ball.

To finish off the card I slipped the brad through center hole on the panel and bent up the arms (make sure you don't squeeze the arms flat against the card stock or it may not spin easily). Then I added some foam tape to the back of the panel to pop it up and allow for the Kitty to spin.

Here is how I finished the inside.
Love that little fish skull ♡
