Christmas Drum Gift Box Set ~ SVG Cut files Fleurette

Fleurette here :)  I've had so much fun Guest Designing for Trendy Twine this month!!!  Since Christmas is coming soon and this is my last post this month, I wanted to go out with a Bang!   So, I created these Christmas Drum Gift Boxes.  The Krafty Red Trendy Twine gives it that extra special touch!  Fill each drum full of goodies or special gifts, it's also an adorable addition to any Christmas decor.

Supplies needed to create the Christmas Drum Gift Box Set:

• Card Stock
• Hot Glue
• Paper Glue
• Krafty Red Trendy Twine
• Fleurette Bloom SVG Cut Files - Nesting Round Cake Boxes
• Adhesive Rhinestones
• 2 - 3/8" x 2 3/4"Tie Rack Pegs for "drum sticks"  Available in the wood dept. of most craft stores.   (see photo below)
• Ribbon 3/8"W - to go around top edge of lid. (double stick tape works great for quick application, or you can use little dots of hot glue).

Tip: Use hot glue to adhere the twine to the box edges,  just a tiny dot here and there is all you need.

Stacking Christmas Tree: By DT Member Ilda Dias

Are you all getting into the Christmas Spirit yet? I can't wait!!!

Today I am sharing with you a super cute stacking Christmas Tree I made using Fleurette Bloom files. Love how it turned out and how functional it is too!

This will make one cute Christmas gift for sure... all I need to do is add some treats to the inside!

Here are the files you will need to recreate this tree and what I did...

Star - Stars and Stripe Frame 

(cut 5 and score down the center of each, glue them back to back)

Tree - Stacking Round Cake Box from Celebrations 3D SVG Kit 

(cut one extra box and enlarged it)

Tag - Party Hat tag from Celebrations 3D SVG Kit 

(deleted cut lines, folded in half)

Trunk - Nesting Gift Box Set 

(cut smallest box and resized it)

The stamp I used comes from Craftin Desert Divas Happy Celebrations Stamp Set

This gorgeous double sided paper has been sitting in my stash for a while!

Flower Gift Box By: Fleurette Bloom ~ Trendy Twine Guest Design Spot

When I was asked to Guest Design for Trendy Twine I was so honored, as it is my absolute  favorite go to for that extra special finishing touch on projects.  Also the quality of the product and people are top notch!!!

Today I am sharing with you a pretty fall themed gift box that I embellished with Orange Truffle  and Totally Sky Trendy Twine giving the appearance that it is all wrapped up.  The fun part is you can open it without removing the twine! It will always look like a pretty wrapped up package / decoration.  I think this will make an extra special gift!

To create this special gift box, I used the following Fleurette Bloom  3D SVG files and Paper Collection:

• "Harvest Happenings" -  Pumpkin Trio Med. sized box and leaves from the Place Card.  
• "Dia De Los Muertos" -  Rose_2 SVG
• "Willow Lane" - digital coordinating paper pack

The Trendy Twine I embellished with is: 

• Orange Truffle  
• Totally Sky

* To attach the twine so that the box can be open and closed without removing it:

     1. Cut strands of twine long enough to reach around two sides and top of box.

     2. Drape strands over top and sides of box forming and X.

     3. Glue twine strands with hot glue to the top / center of the box (let strands drape down the                    sides.

     4. Glue bottom ends of twine to bottom edge of box, then cut so they are even with the bottom of            the box. 

     5. Glue on your leaves and flower to top of box.

Our "Skull Groom" is quite debonair, of course he could also be spooky too, just by using different papers! The Top Hat comes off so you can put treats inside or add a battery operated tea light and you have a luminary.

The "1st Place Gear Ribbon" SVG Cut file is great just as it is for gift bags or use it on a card.  How about using actual ribbon for the bottom with the gear section at the top and create a fun ribbon to pin on someone. Make it a birthday ribbon or congratulations ribbon, use a stamp and add any sentiment to the center!
