No Line Watercoloring with Fadeout Ink

Hello and thanks for stopping by! Today I'm happy to share a project with you using the BeYOUtiful stamp set and Fadeout ink from Ink on 3 to create a bold watercolor look.

The background is created on a die cut panel of Bristol paper. By first adding Peacock Blue Atelier Ink and then adding a coating of Goddess Green Atelier ink right over it, the colors mixed to create a beautiful new shade of aquamarine.

 

The BeYOUtiful stamp set has so many gorgeous images, don't you think? I chose to add a very deep color selection using the no line watercolor method. My favorite way to achieve this look is with Ink on 3's Fadeout Ink! The stamped lines blend in like magic and help to hide the stamped lines from the completely colored image.

 

Concentrating the darkest colors into the most shadowed area, I first added the purple and then moved progressively to a lighter shade of color, being sure to overlap the colors and allow them to blend on the paper. Finishing up the white areas with a vanilla colored ink/marker helped lend a warmth to the flowers. Be sure to check out the video tutorial for a full process on coloring.
