Halloween Pumpkin Card with Atelier Inks

Hooray for fall and Halloween! Atelier Inks are just perfect for solid stamping! They're smooth and crisp and everything wonderful!

I grabbed my Pondie Stencil and temporarily adhered it to a piece of white cardstock and blended Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink over the stencil. This is my favorite ink for black ink blending - you get the same crisp and deep black color for ink blending that you get with stamping. It's amazing! And the Pondie Stencil is definitely not a Halloween Stencil, but I think it's spooky with the Blackout Hybrid Ink

Now it's time to bust out the Atelier Inks! I stamped my solid pumpkins with Marigold Orange, Bee Sting Yellow, and My Jam Purple, the leaves with Goddess Green, and the stems with Twiggy Brown. The inks are GORGEOUS! And they really pop against the black stenciled background!

I die cut the pumpkins and added them to the front of my card with foam tape and added a sentiment that I stamped with Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink to the bottom of the card. That's all! Happy Halloween!

Dia dos Muertos - You're Sugar Sweet Skull Card

Happy Weekend friends, Ilda here!

This year the Day of the Dead is celebrated on November 2, typically it is November 1st the day after Halloween. "Día de Muertos" is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico. The day is viewed not as a day of sadness but as a day of celebration as their loved ones awake and celebrate with them. This day is also known as all Saints Day and is celebrated by many Catholics around the world. So I thought it would be fun to create a card in honor of this special day.

CARD DETAILS

The stamp I am using today comes from Ink On 3's SUGAR SKULL stamp set. I began by stamping out with Versafine Onyx Ink and then heat setting the image with CRYSTAL CLEAR embossing powder. I then fussy cut the simple image.

Next, I colored in the skull using a variety of shimmer powders that I had watered down to watercolor with. I then stamped the sentiment using BLACKOUT Ink onto the card base and popped the skull image in place.

To embellish this simple card, I added some flower petals sequins and finished the centers with a seed bead. I also added glossy accents to the image for some added dimension.

I hope this very simple yet colorful Sugar Sweet Skull Card inspired you today. Thank you all for stopping by. Have a wonderful crafty weekend!

Ilda

Halloween Bat Shaker Card

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and I am blessed to be guest designing for Fleurette again today!  I made this spooky bat card using the Halloween Card Kit from Fleurette Bloom.

I knew it was perfect to alter for a shaker card as soon as I saw it!  The card design is fairly simple, so it really showcases the sequins well.

I used mostly Lime Licorice Batty Sequins (Look at those bat sequins!!) with a little Orange Licorice Batty Sequins and I also added a few white ones to bring out the colors on my striped paper.  The Lime Licorice Trendy Twine I used matched those sequins perfectly!

This kind of a card would be a hit for anyone on your card list.  For more links and descriptions, stop by my blog HERE.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
