Merry Christmas, Deer!

Hello friends! 

It's Ceal, here.  Today I am sharing a card using one of my favorite stamps from Ink On 3. 

To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a piece of white cardstock for the image. I stamped the image deer from Oh Deer with Blackout ink, colored it using alcohol markers and then cut it out with the Coordinating Die.

Next I stamped the lights and the ornaments, also colored with alcohol markers and cut with the dies. 

To finish the card I added some glossy accents to the ornaments and lights and then added the Merry Christmas die cut from Picket Fence Studios

Can you believe it's only 7 days until Christmas? This has been the fastest slowest year ever.

It's 7 days until Christmas and yes I am still making and mailing cards out. 

My card today uses the Oh Deer set and I turned him into a Christmas deer. I stamped the image using Blackout ink and then colored it using Copic markers. I love how with the blackout ink you do not have to heatset it or wait a while to color your image.  

To make him a little more festive I added the string of lights to his antlers. 

Sparkly Faux Enamel Die Cuts

It's no secret, I love doing no-line coloring, and keeping my cards CAS... but I also like including elements that make it pop... Just a little something to add a bit of sparkle or dimension...

One of my recent favorites is sparkly faux enamel die cuts.... They are beautiful, customizable, and look fabulous without adding much bulk.... which means you can keep your cards easy to mail, while still having some sparkle and dimension!
