Snow Buddies

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today to share a card I created using Inkon3’s stamp set named, Artic Buddies. The weather is getting a bit chilly and I'm so ready to break out all my wintery stamps (not that you really need that as a reason to do so).

Artic Buddies was actually one of the stamp sets that led me to discover Inkon3 because of the adorable critters so it was about time I created something with it.

For today's card, I decided to go with a simple scene using the polar bear duo. I stamped out everything using Blackout ink and created masks for them. I wanted them hanging out in the ocean right before sunset.

By masking everything off, I was able to create a background using all distress inks. I love how easy ocean scenes are because you're just able to mark off a horizon and use different colors to create the effect. To add a little bit of texture into the ocean, I used a couple markers in swipes.
I’ve had this set for awhile now and it’s about time I use it. I hope you get inspired to create!

Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!

Snow Cool Card

Hi everyone! This is Jeannie, Design Team coordinator for Inkon3, and from time to time, I'll be popping in to share some of the Design Team members creations. I hope you enjoy all the fun posts and get inspired to create!

Today, Anthony will be sharing a "cool" card using a couple of the stamps & dies from Inkon3 along with his favorite, Liquid Pixie Dust, that is a must have in your crafty stash!

Here is how he created this card:

First, using some post it tape, he masked off an area on the cardstock and then he used a blending brush to add on some blue ink.

For the coloring, Anthony used Chameleon markers to color in the image from the Snow Cool stamp set. Using the Liquid Pixie Dust, he added it to the cute penguin to add the shine and glitter.

To create a sentiment, Anthony used the Phat Alphanumeric dies with Neenah solar white paper to cut out the word "Cool". Of course, there's never too much glitter so he added Liquid Pixie Dust to the words.

As a finishing touch to the card panel, he splattered some blue ink and Liquid Pixie Dust to the front of the card.

For the sentiment, he used the Juicy Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink to stamp out the "You Are" with Artic White embossing powder.

Don't you love how this card came together? If you're interested in seeing this card come together in action, check out his process video on YouTube below.

Thank you for joining us on the blog today and hope you come back soon!

There's Snow-Buddy Quite Like You Birthday Card ft. Snow Buddies

Hello friends, Ilda here 😁

Back again with you today with one more card from Ink On 3's newest Stamp Set Snow Buddies. This time featuring the adorable penguins. 🐧🐧🐧

I had so much fun creating this card, even though it looks like it was a ton of work it actually wasn't that difficult 😉

There's Snow-Buddy Quite Like You Birthday Card - Ink On 3 Stamps

Once I had cut out masks the rest was simple.
I cut 2 masks for each penguin, 2 large ones and 2 small ones. Then once those were cut out I started stamping and masking all around the pink penguin. Once the cluster of penguins was stamped I did some simple coloring with Zig brushes and fussy cut the entire grouped image out. Next, I glued them down to a night sky background I had created using Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors, to which I had already added the sentiment to the bottom corner. I then glue on the mitts and the hat to the pink penguin and added some liquid applique to the pompom. I also added some glossy accents to each of the little penguins eyes and beaks for some added dimension.

I finished the inside of the card with this cute birthday banner and added my sentiment. If you are curious about any supplies I used check out all the links over on my blog.

You Warm My Heart Valentine's Day Card ft. Snow Buddies

Hello Everyone, Ilda here again and Happy New Year to you!

Hope you have been enjoying some holiday time at home with the family.

Today I'm back with another Valentine's Day Card featuring Ink On 3's newest Stamp Set Snow Buddies. I can't get enough of these cute critters.

This one layer card was super easy to do, the hardest part was waiting for the glossy accents to dry!😆

To begin I stamped my images on some Bristol paper and did some masking to create the cute little scene. To the images themselves all I did was add some shadowing and rosy cheeks using Zig markers. To create my waves I used 4 different shades of blue and drew wave like lines along the bottom half of the card and blended them out with a water brush. For the sky I lightly blended out some peacock feathers distress oxide ink. Once my coloring was done, I die cut the front panel and added some Wink of Stella to the balloons and ice. Finally I finished it off by adding glossy accents and waited for it to dry.

Snow Buddies, You Warm My Heart Valentine Cards

Hello Friends,
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying some Holiday time with your Families!

I'm back today with a few cards featuring Ink On 3's newest Stamp Set Snow Buddies! How cute are these little guys?! 😍

Since I wanted to make multiples of these cards I kept the design really simple.
To create the heart stencil, I used a large post-it note and folded the paper in half, then cut out my heart. I used the negative of the paper and distress inks to blend out the heart on the front panel of each of the cards. I then added some pen detail around each one of the hearts for fun. Once the ink was dry I stamped out my sentiment and heat set them with embossing powder. I used same stitched rectangle die to cut the panels. For the Snow Buddies, I did some stamp masking. I first stamped out the smaller image and then covered it with a mask and then stamped the larger image.  I then used spectrum noir markers to do some really simple coloring.

Here are a few close up of these adorable critters.

I think these seals are my favorite, I especially love how they kinda form the shape of a heart!

To add a bit of dimension to the cards I popped up the image as well as the front panels with foam tape and added glossy accents to their eyes, nose and their little stamped hearts.

On the inside of the cards I finished them with a sentiment from the Lilac Dreams Stamp Set.
