You Are Never Alone Friendship Card by Ilda

 

Hello friends, Ilda here from I Love Doing All Things Crafty. 

My friendship card features one of the newest stamps sets from Ink On 3 called Here For You. If you like florals, this is such a pretty bloom to color and this set comes with 6 encouragement/friendship sentiments. 

CARD RECIPE

• Stamp image onto Watercolor Paper using FADEOUT INK.
• Color in the image using SWEET PETUNIA REINKER Ink on the rose and GODDESS GREEN  and TRINITY TEAL RE-INKERs on the leaves.
• Once dry fussy cut image.

• Mask off the front panel using tape.
• Ink blend the top of the rectangle area using TRINITY TEAL and the bottom using GODDESS GREEN ATELIER INK pads.
• Layer on the leaves to the bottom half of the panel using the LEAFY FOREST STENCIL.
• Spritz panel with water. Use a paper towel to absorb water.
• Stamp sentiment using BLACKOUT INK.
• Attach the Rose in place using foam tape.
• Glue to the card base.
• Embellish.

Hello Magnolia Friendship Card

Hello Friends, Ilda here and happy Friday!

Today I am sharing a card featuring the BIG BOLD MAGNOLIAS Stamp set, that I previously had colored for the last Kathy Raccosin's coloring challenge. I love participating in her challenges because I end up with a ton of colored pieces ready to go on a card.

CARD DETAILS

So to begin, I stamped out the images first onto Bristol paper using BLACKOUT INK. I then colored the images in with Karin Brush Marker Pro Brushpens that were new to me and I wanted to test them out. Once the water coloring was dry I went back to add some pencil detailing. I then place the colored images back into the stamp positioner and re-inked the images using JUICY INK this time. 

Next, I sprinkled GOLD RUSH EMB. PWD. over the panel and then heat set the lines in. As you can see some of the BLACKOUT INK is still showing through some areas, but that didn't bother me as it looks like a shadow line. Please note, when you watercolors the paper will warp a little so linning it back may not be perfect unless you use non-waterbased media. I then die cut each flower up using the BIG BOLD MAGNOLIAS coordinating dies and glued them on to a strip of cardstock that I had added the same gold embossing using the LEAFY FOREST STENCIL.

To finish, I die cut, stacked and glued together the Hello from the DOGWOOD coordinating die set. Before adhering it all to the card base I diluted some of the red I used on the flower and added splatters onto the card front.

Rainbow Hugs Friendship Card | No Line Coloring Using Atelier Inks

Hello my Friends, Ilda here!

I hope you all are doing well and have had a wonderful week. I'm sure by now you all know how much I love rainbows, for me rainbows symbolize hope and happiness to come. So I thought it was fitting to add a rainbow in today's friendship card. I pray this Pandemic will end soon so we can hug our families and friends again.

CARD DETAILS 

To begin, I stamped out the cute image from the new FOX AND BUNNY HUGS stamp set using FADEOUT INK. I then lightly drew the rainbow around the fox and bunny image.

I then used both the Atelier Re-inkers and the inkpads to color the images in. I found it easiest to add a drop of ink from the re-inkers onto a paint palette and dilute it with another drop of water. Where I needed a touch of color I picked up ink directly from the ink pad. (See thumbnails below for all the colors used). Once the image was completely dry I added pencil detail for an added layer of shading.

To create the grass I masked off the area under the images and then blended out the area using the ATELIER GODDESS GREEN ink. I then spritzed the area and picked up the water with a paper towel to distress the area. To complete the grass, I added some flicked grass blades using a water brush. To the sky, I added clean water and then added a touch of blue ink from the ATELIER PEACOCK BLUE ink pad. 

I then finished the card by stamping out the Hugs from the FOX AND BUNNY HUGS and then the little butterflies from the FOREVER FRIENDS using JUICY INK and heat setting them using CHROME EMB PWD.
