Rainbow Ombre Card using Atelier Inks

Hi Everyone, it's Cheryl here to show you how to make a cheerful card that's bound to brighten up anyone's day!

First I used the Inkon3 Atelier Inks to make a diagonal rainbow background! I just did this freehand so I can get a slight gradient effect when I transitioned to the next color. Look at how vibrant the colors are!

I cut out a scalloped rectangle and scalloped circle, then I embossed the scalloped rectangle using an embossing plate. I also cut out a small flag and used the Marilyn Red Atelier Ink to "dye" the paper. Next, I stamped and fussy cut some of the images from the Lil Chicks stamp set. I used the Atelier Inks as water-coloring inks to color the images! Even watered down a bit, the colors are so vibrant!

Once the red flag was dried, I stamped the "You're EGG-STRA-SPECIAL" sentiment using an embossing ink and then sprinkled some Arctic White Ultra Fine embossing powder over the stamped sentiment and heat set the embossing powder.

I assembled the card by first adhering the large scalloped rectangle to the rainbow card base, then added the little chickie and then the rest of the stamped images on the top and bottom of the circle. Lastly, I adhered the red flag on the bottom left of the card.

There you have it! A nice, clean, and simple card that's super duper adorable!

Simple Sweet Posies Card

Hello Crafty Friends! It's Cheryl with the Inkon3 creative team here to share a sweet and simple card using the Posies stamp set.

I stamped the water pitcher, stem, and posies using the Fadeout No Line Coloring Detail ink onto white card stock. I love how the ink fades away, meaning no need to mask! I simply stamped where I wanted the flowers, and colored the flowers in! Once the image was colored, I fussy cut the stamped and colored image.
Copic Colors Used:
Pinks: R81, RV00, V0000
Blues: B0000, B000, B00
Blue-Greens: BG10, BG000
Greens: G43, G40, G24, G20

Next, I die-cut a few scalloped squares, one large square and two small ones. I used distress inks to add color to each of the squares. Then I used some water to activate the inks to give some subtle details to the background.

Then I cut out a large scalloped rectangle using beige patterned paper. I chose beige so that it doesn't overpower the soft no-line colored image.

I then heat embossed the sentiment "You're the Best" onto the large square and then assembled the card. I adhered the large scalloped rectangle onto the base of the card. Then I adhered one small scalloped square on opposite corners of the larger rectangle. Next, I adhered the large square over the two smaller square. Once all the squares have been placed onto the card, I adhered the colored in image of the Posies in the glass pitcher.  Lastly I used some Nuvo jewel drops to add a few clear drops onto the card.

I hope you liked this tutorial! <3

Creating a Scene with Dance & Twirl

Hello Crafters.  I'm  Courtney, and I am super excited to be guest designing for Inkon3.  I am a colorist, mainly Copics, and I love creating scenes.  So today, I decided to create a scene using the Dance & Twirl stamp set along with the Fadeout Ink No Line Coloring Detail Ink

*** Be sure to scroll down to see the Youtube video on how I created this fun card *** :)

I started by creating my scene with a pencil onto a piece of white card stock.  I knew I wanted these cuties to be on a stage.  I am not artistic in any way, so my scenes usually consist of straight lines and basic shapes.

Next, I stamped my images with the Fadeout Ink and colored them with my Copic Markers.  I was blown away with this ink, It is as if it melts right into the alcohol ink!

I fussy cut my images and popped them up onto my stage.  I added my sentiment and called this one done. (there are coordinating dies for this set, if you don't like fussy cutting)

When Pigs Fly Card - Flying Piggy by Ilda

It's true, it's true, pigs are flying!!!
Well at least in my latest card ๐Ÿ˜

Not sure if you guys can tell, but check out the shiny little foiled pigs ๐Ÿท in the the background (see next picture). I used Fleurette's coordinating "Three Little Pigs" Digital Foil It Paper Pack and the speech bubble is also a Foil It. Love how she has made these digi papers coordinate with the her Stamps. Just makes things a lot simpler when you are creating, takes out the guess work out of choosing papers! And using the "Foil Its" was fairly easy too, all you need is a laminator or a Minc, and if you don't have one of those... I've heard, an iron works too to transfer on the foil  ๐Ÿ˜‰

How cute is this little flying pig?

If you love him I bet you will love the "Three Little Pigs" stamp set from Fleurette Bloom's latest release, and for a limited time you can get the Pigs and Posies Bundle Pack Special - FREE Shipping with the coupon code piggiesposies

For those of you that like watching the card making process, this is for you! Links to all the supplies I used will be listed in the video description.

Thanks for "flying" by!

Design Team News

Please join me in welcoming new Design Team Member ... Amy McCabe.
Amy is a scrapbooker and loves to create home decor and 3D Projects.

•••••••••

Hi Everyone! I'm so happy to be here and look forward to sharing my projects
using Fleurette Bloom’s original SVG files, printables and digital papers.

Here is a Valentine Decor project I created using Fleurette’s Dia De Los Muertos 3D Kit.

I started out with a 10.25" x 8.5" chalkboard from Walmart.

Here’s what you'll need:

I opened the banner file in my Silhouette Designer Edition. I ungrouped and deleted the border elements. I sized it to fit my chalkboard and cut out of vinyl on my Cameo. Weed out the areas you want to paint using the Xacto Knife.

I transfered to the chalkboard using transfer tape and added blue painters tape to cover up my frame. Paint the exposed areas with the foam brush and use a fine brush for the tight areas.  Use a small amount of acrylic paint and dab on for a chalk effect.
After it dries remove the tape and vinyl. (this is the fun part!)

I painted the frame with a light coat of white acrylic so the wood grain shows through. Cut the Small Rosettes from Fleurette Bloom's Lush Flowers 3D SVG Collection. I used the tweezers to hold the end and wrapped the paper to form the rosette. I secured with a glue gun and added colored pearls.

I hope you enjoyed my project. I am very excited and honored to be on the team.
Stop by my blog "Aimitup" for more creative inspiration.
