Thinking Of You Card | Coloring With Distress Oxide Inks by Ilda

Hey everybody, Ilda here with you today from I Love Doing All things crafty 👋

Today I’m sharing a water coloured card using distress oxide inks, and featuring some of the older stamps sets from Ink On 3. I hadn't water colored for a while and I was missing it, happy I did because I am super happy with the bright and colorful results I got!

Thinking Of You Card | Coloring With Distress Oxide Inks by Ilda

To create this card I did some ink smooshing onto the card panel using three different distress oxide inks to create the rainbow like background. Once the panel was completely dry I stamped out the images using Juicy Ink and then heat set it with  Arctic White embossing powder. Next, I took the same colors that I smooshed onto my surface and used them to color in the details of the vase from the Posies Set and the flowers from the Roses in Bloom set by adding multiple layers of oxide pigment. I then flicked some splatters of paint for some added splashes of color onto the panel and then die cut it using a stitched scallop rectangle die. For the sentiments I used the Hello stand alone die from the Dogwood Flower set and die cut 3 pieces and stacked them together. I then added Juicy Ink to the top of the Hello and added a coat of Crystal Clear Powder to emboss it. Next, I stamped out the thinking of you sentiment from the Posies stamp set using Salty Ocean distress ink and again used the Crystal Clear powder to heat set the ink. Finished off the card by adding some sparkling sequins.

(Distress Oxides Used: Salty Ocean, Picked Raspberry and Squeezed Lemon)

Creating a Scene with Dance & Twirl

Hello Crafters.  I'm  Courtney, and I am super excited to be guest designing for Inkon3.  I am a colorist, mainly Copics, and I love creating scenes.  So today, I decided to create a scene using the Dance & Twirl stamp set along with the Fadeout Ink No Line Coloring Detail Ink

*** Be sure to scroll down to see the Youtube video on how I created this fun card *** :)

I started by creating my scene with a pencil onto a piece of white card stock.  I knew I wanted these cuties to be on a stage.  I am not artistic in any way, so my scenes usually consist of straight lines and basic shapes.

Next, I stamped my images with the Fadeout Ink and colored them with my Copic Markers.  I was blown away with this ink, It is as if it melts right into the alcohol ink!

I fussy cut my images and popped them up onto my stage.  I added my sentiment and called this one done. (there are coordinating dies for this set, if you don't like fussy cutting)

Dance & Twirl Christmas Gift Tags

Hi crafters
I have a short post today, with just pics and links to the projects used. Pics are pretty self explanatory and I'm certain you can recreate them yourself.

How adorable would these tags be tied to any gift or treat! Such darling critters.

As seen on the back, I stamped the To and From, but you could certainly leave it blank or put whatever you'd like.

Images were colored using Copic markers.

Here's your supply list.

Sugar Plum Shaker Card by Ilda

Hey all, Ilda here from I Love Doing All things crafty

Today I am sharing another creation for Ink On 3. This cute little shaker card features the little mouse from the Dance and Twirl Stamp set

I began by stamping out the mouse using Blackout ink. I then colored it in with Copic markers.
(I will list all the Copics I used at the bottom of this post.)

Next, I worked on the background panel. I used Fadeout Ink to stamp out the little bell cluster from the Fairy Christmas Set all over the background. I created holly clusters instead by coloring the bells in red.

To the shaker window frame, I stamped out the sentiment by using Juicy Ink and then embossing it with the Chrome Ultra Fine Embossing Powder.

Here is how I finished the inside of the card.

Hope this Sugar Plum Shaker Card inspired you today!

Thank you for stopping by 😊
Until next time... Happy Crafting 👋

Fleurette here and I decided to create a couple of clean & simple cards.  One thing I love about CAS cards is that the images really stand out, but the other great part is they are simple to create so you can create a few cards in a short time!
The Dance & Twirl stamp set is great in that it works for so many occasions.  For my cards I created a Christmas and a Birthday card.

For my first card I used the Juicy Embossing Watermark Ink with the Arctic White Ultra Fine Embossing Powder.  I cut out the "Sparkle & Shine" sentiment. using the stand alone word dies that come with the Dance & Twirl Coordinating Die Cuts.  It was so fun and easy!  After cutting out my sentiment, I inked it up with the Juicy Ink then poured the embossing powder on top, heated it with my heat gun, then while it was hot, poured more on, and heated it again. This will give you a nice thick, shiny sentiment.  I then colored over it with my Copics and heat it up one last time.  This creates a super cool blended shiny effect in what ever colors you like.  I  stamped my critters in Blackout Detail Ink as it is Copic friendly then colored them in, cut them out with the coordinating die cuts, popped them up with some foam tape. I finished it off with a little ribbon, Wink Of Stella and embellished it. Easy peasy :D

For my second CAS card I created a Christmas card, since in the card making world it is right around the corner.  LOL ~ But in all seriousness, this is a great set for Christmas, with the "Visions of Sugar-plums, danced in their heads" sentiment and then with cute little ballerinas, oh and that little mouse with the present, too cute!

I used all the same products as above, but this time I used the Black As Night Ultra-Fine embossing powder for my sentiment, it is amazing how this embossing powder works with the tiny details!

I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop and are inspired to create some of your own CAS cards!

Dance, Dance, Dance

Hi Crafters, Cheryl here today, with another project ad a sneak peak at the new release stamp set this month for InkOn3.
And it's a super cute one!!!

Dance & Twirl
Isn't it just adorable!!!
Let me show you the tag I made using one of the images and sentiments.

EEK!!! I loved these images the moment I saw them. Stinkin Cute!!!
I pulled out my Copic markers and colored this adorable dancing mouse. I can't even! Anyway, I colored it up and cut it out with my Brother Scan n Cut...the dies weren't available at the time of this post.
I brushed on some sparkle brush and added some white gel dots to her top.

I cut a tag using a die from My Creative Time...my go to tag die, for sure! I laid a stencil over it from Altenew. I used an ink blending tool and some green inks from Altenew and blended it on, dark in the center going out to light. I then brushed some sparkle brush marker over the "rays".
I attached the mouse to an Action Wobbler and centered it over the rays.

I stamped the word Dance three times using Blackout ink and cut them out with the Scan n Cut. Glued them all together, brushed with a sparkle pen and coated with Glossy Accents. Set aside to dry!

I then pulled out the sub sentiment and stamped in the teal color. I cut it using the tag die again to get the same stitching on the edges. I aligned it near the bottom of the tag and attached with liquid glue.

I added some gems from Studio Katia and when the Glossy Accents was dry I added "Dance".

To finish off the top, I tied a bit of ribbon and twine matching the colors in the project.

Isn't it just the cutest??? I love those Action Wobblers. They make everything so fun.
I hope you like my tag today and go pull out some of your supplies and make something pretty of your own.

Here's what I used.

Dance & Twirl Stamp Set

There you go. No link to the stamp set as it in the store of this posting, sorry.
Keep checking the store, it should go live in a week or so, maybe even this week...not sure of that.
Also, a blog hop is coming on September 14, 2018. Watch for that!

Happy crafting,
Cheryl

Pocket Thank You Tag

Hey crafty friends, Cheryl here today for a post for InkOn3.

I made a fun tag good for any reason. I made a thank you tag. You could tie it on a goodie bag or attach it to a card base. Tags are so fun and good for any occasion.

I pulled out a pocket die I have in my stash from My Creative Time. It's such a fun pocket and the tags fit perfectly. I cut it first from white heavy weight cardstock and then from some lighter weight patterned paper from Lawn Fawn. I then glued it to the white base.

I then stamped my image onto patterned paper and white heat embossed using Juicy embossing ink and Arctic White embossing powder from InkOn3. I then used the coordinating dies and cut out one of the florals and the little butterflies.
For the tag, I first die cut it and then stamped and embossed.

For the tag, I first die cut it and then stamped and embossed. Again using Juicy ink and Arctic White embossing powder. I layered the top layer onto the bottom one and then added the reinforcement circle. I also cut one in plain white paper and attached to the back for a place to write your note.

I stamped a thank you sentiment and embossed it as well.

So that's it. Super easy but super cute and can be made for any occasion or holiday. The sky is the limit on something like this.

Here's the shopping list.

Studio Katia - Crystals
Lawn Fawn - Patterned Paper

So that's it. Get out your supplies and craft up your own designs. I hope that this gives you a few ideas!

Hello My Friend - Gold Rush Ultra Fine Embossing Powder

Hello my Friends, Ilda here from ilovedoingallthingscrafty.com!

I am back from vacation and finally had a chance to play with the new Ultra Fine Embossing Powders from Ink On 3. I am completely in love with how these powders melt, they are AH-Mazing! If you like using Embossing Powders I'm sure you will LOVE these!

Hello My Friend - Gold Rush Ultra Fine Embossing Powder from Ink On 3 by ilovedoingallthingscrafty

Here is how I made this card:
  • I used the Juicy Ink pad to stamp the Hollyhocks onto a piece of watercolor paper.
  • I then sprinkled Gold Rush Ultra Fine Embossing Powder onto the stamped images and melted the powder with a heat gun.
  • Next, I colored in the images with Migello Mission Gold Watercolors.
  • Once the panel was all colored and dry I trimmed the edges to fit onto an A2 card front. I then inked the edges of the panel with Juicy Ink and then embossed them with the Gold Rush Powder.
  • For the sentiment, I used the standalone die from the Dogwood flower die set and embossed it with a couple of coats of Gold Rush Embossing Powder.
  • I also stamped out the "my friend" from the Hollyhocks set using Juicy Ink onto a piece of black cardstock that then once again embossed with Gold Rush.
Here is a close up of the Gold Rush Powders melted on the card 😍

Mermaid Cat Stamp Set, Card - Watercolor Embossing Techniques

Watercolor and Embossing Techniques, using the stamp set "My Little Catfish"

I had so much fun making this card as it is one of my favorite stamp sets. It always brings back sweet childhood memories for me.  When I was a little girl about 8 years old, I got my first pet cat and I named her Catfish.  Why Catfish?  Well, I had a big love for all creatures of the sea and lakes I guess, lol.  She turned out to be my very best friend growing up and I had her all the way though college.  So every time I use this set, a little piece of her comes back to life.   I hope you will get as much joy out of creating with this little mercat set as I do, after all who doesn't like mermaids and their pets of course.

Here is quick video showing the watercolor and embossing techniques I used to create this card.
Thanks for watching <3

How I created this card:

  • First I used the seahorses and sea shells and Chrome Ultra-Fine Embossing Powders to create a fun background.  Then ink blended the blue over the top to give it that deep blue sea feel.
  • Then I die cut a stitched circle, inked it up with some Juicy Embossing Ink, and poured on the Chrome embossing powder.  The combination of this ink and ultra fine powder is amazing, it is such a smooth, shiny finish.  It truly looks like metal! :)
  • For the Mercat or "Catfish" lol, I embossed it in the Arctic White Ultra-Fine Embossing powder then used watercolors to color it in. To add some deeper tones I accented it with some colored pencils.
Happy Crafting!

I have created a fairy / flower watercolored, embossed card combining two stamps sets ~ Fairy Wishes & Hollyhocks and oh what fun it was, plus I think you will be amazed at how smooth and detailed the gold embossing powder is on the fairy (it's a super detailed image)!  I  used two of the Ultra-Fine Embossing Powders, along with the coordinating die set from Holly hocks.

You can see all the shine and fine detail in this video.

Scroll down to see how I created this and then scroll down a little farther for your next stop on the hop!

Giveaway will close on August 19th at noon CST, Winner will be posted on the Ink On 3 blog.

To create my card:
  • Next I did something really cool and fun!  I die cut the "Thank You" using the stand alone word die from the Hollyhocks Coordinating die set, embossed it with Juicy embossing ink and poured on the Arctic White powder, after heating it, I poured more on while it was still hot, than did that one more time to get it super thick.  After it was cool, I took some Copic markers and randomly colored the letters, then heated it up again (which will move and blend the colors) then to get the colors brighter, I colored them again, as when you melt it it will lighted from mixing with the white.  Then I heat it up to blend the colors again.  It gives a really pretty, shiny effect.  I just love it!!!
  • For the gold background of my sentiment, I just cut a piece of card stock, inked it up with the Juicy Embossing ink and poured the Gold Rush powder on top and heat it up, I did it twice to make it extra thick.  I think it turned out great and looks like metal in real life!

*I will be doing a Youtube and Facebook lives to show how I created this.

Thanks so much for popping in and have a blast on the rest of the hop!
