Oh Deer notecard with video tutorial

Hello and thanks for stopping by! Today I'm happy to share a project with you using the Oh Deer stamp set and Atelier Inks from Ink on 3 to create a bold ink blended look.

The Oh Deer stamp set is filled with woodland images including a majestic deer. I love the large and open images, which are perfect for creating many color tones.

Here are three versions of the notecard with the Oh Deer stamps and dies. Whether it's a simple watercolored look or rainbow ink blending, this stamp set is perfect.

Be sure to check out the video tutorial for a full process on coloring on one of the cards.

Here is an easy step by step how-to video for creating this card.

Hugs, Kisses and Unicorn Wishes

Hey everybody!
It's Ceal here to share a card with you today. I have been busy making Christmas cards and then I had someone order a birthday card with an unicorn so I immediately knew what set I was going to use.
I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut to the same size. I stamped the unicorn from the set Magical Unicorn and colored it using Copic markers. I added some shimmer with Liquid Pixie Dust and added shine to her horn with glossy accents.

Since I have been working on Christmas cards, I was thinking I may try coloring her in Christas colors. If I do, I will come back and show you.

Little Birdie Slimline Scene Card

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Ink on 3’s stamp set named Little Birdie stamp set. The Little Birdie stamp set took a backseat to the three new ink release last month but I really wanted to focus on it since it's such a great little set.

I stamped out a ton of the floral images to use so I could build up a nice full flower arrangement at the bottom of my slimline card. I also used a reverse mirror technique so I could add a second bird to my card as well to fill up the top portion of the card.

Using a light hand, I added some Sweet Petunia pink at the top of my slimline card so it would look like these two little birds were peering into a house from the outside window.

To get all the details, stop by the Youtube video below and watch the process.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!

Little Birdie Cardinal Card

There's a new stamp set in the InkOn3 shop and it covers all of your bases! There are flowers, twigs, lots of sentiments, and of course a little birdie!

I saw the Little Birdie Stamp Set and immediately wanted to create a Christmas cardinal card! I wanted a simple background, so I grabbed the Leafy Forest Stencil and Goddess Green Atelier Ink. As I blended the ink over the stencil I realized that my background was looking too "spring." The Goddess Green Atelier Ink is a gorgeous green color, but a little too bright for my Christmas background. I added a little bit of Twiggy Brown Atelier Ink over the Goddess Green Atelier Ink and the result was a pretty olive green colored background. Perfect!

I used Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink to stamp the bird, branch, and berries from the Little Birdie Stamp Set and colored them with Copic Markers. I used scissors to trim them out and added them to the card with a mix of liquid adhesive and foam tape. I keep my Liquid Pixie Dust in a Small Fine Tip Water Brush Pen and added shimmer to all of the red areas of my coloring.

I used Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink to stamp a sentiment from the Little Birdie Stamp Set at the bottom of my card - and that's it! I hope you check out the Little Birdie Stamp Set - it's in the shop NOW

New Atelier Inks - Inspiration Week, Day 6: 3 Different Cards

Welcome to Ink on 3's new ink inspiration week! Every day, we'll be sharing projects here on the blog so make sure you visit us daily for new projects and inspiration. Also, if you leave a comment on this blog post, you'll have a chance to win a $25 gift card. We will announce the winner between November 7-10.

At the end of the week, we will be having an instagram hop on October 30, 2020 and we'll be giving away THREE $25 gift cards. Keep your eyes peeled! Be sure to visit us over on Instagram to leave a comment for a chance to win.

For today's blog post, we have Ilda and Ceal each sharing a fun project.

For my card today, Ilda wanted to showcase how these colors blended and fit into the rainbow. So of course she had to make a rainbow card (my favorite kind). She began by blending out SWEET PETUNIAMARILYN REDMARIGOLD ORANGEBEE STING YELLOWGODDESS GREENTRINITY TEALPEACOCK BLUE, and MY PURPLE JAM Atelier Inks onto a piece of Bristol paper. She then sprayed the background with water and picked up the water droplets with a paper towel.

Once the paper was dry, she used an antistatic powder bag to prepare the paper for embossing. Then she stamped out the inside details of the butterfly wings from the SHINE BRIGHT set using the ATELIER SHARK TOOTH White ink, and heat set it by adding some ARCTIC WHITE POWDER

Next, she stamped the outer image of the butterfly using BLACKOUT INK. To the inside of each butterfly, she then painted on some LIQUID PIXIE DUST.

To finish off this colorful card, she stamped the sentiment onto a black banner once again using the ATELIER SHARK TOOTH White ink, and heat set it using some ARCTIC WHITE POWDER

-------

For Ceal's project, she used the BeYoutiful stamp set along with the new inks. She ink blended the background and then used some water to splatter. Atelier Inks are water reactive, so you can create a fun textured background.

Don't you love when the colors blend together? It creates such a nice hue!

--------------------------

We also have Erica on the blog sharing TWO last gorgeous cards. Here's here thoughts!

It's Erica on the Ink On 3 blog today with a couple of cards made with the stunning new Atelier Ink colours Trinity Teal and Sweet Petunia Pink. If you haven't seen any of the other posts this week, with all the projects from the DT, make sure you check them out too!

I love water colouring with my re-inkers so I decided to do some ombre backgrounds to really let each colour be the star of the card.

Each piece was done by simply swooshing the colours back and forth on water colour paper, starting with clean water first. Then going from bottom towards the top, letting the colour fade to get that ombre look. I'm such a fan of ombre, it's such a fab way to see the different shades you can get from one single colour.

I did use my heat tool to speed up the drying, as I did several layers of the colours to get a really deep colour at the bottom. To adhere these to white card bases I used LOTS of glue, and I also let them dry with a MISTI on top, to keep them flat. When they were totally dry, I splattered them both with gold water colours to add a bit of extra pizzazz!

To finish off the cards I used the light string from the brand new Crafty Meriaki collaboration set, Shine Bright, as well as a sentiment from it. The lights were coloured in with yellow Copics and then I added some Glossy Accents to make them look more 3D.

The pink card I thought would look cute as a love note, so I stamped 'You stole my heart' in Blackout Detail ink, from the Racoon Hugs. It needed a little something extra, which was solved by die cutting the 'kisses' from Bad & Boujee diecuts four times in white card stock. These were layered up and then simply added to the card at the bottom.

I love the fact that with a gorgeous background, you don't need a ton of other stuff to make a card full of impact.

That's it from me but I hope you like the cards and found some inspiration here with me today!

Lots of love and happy crafting from Erica

Be sure to stop by tomorrow over on our Instagram to join in on our instagram hop. We'll also be sharing the lineup tomorrow so you can take a peek as well!

New Atelier Inks - Inspiration Week, Day 5: Ink Blending

Welcome to Ink on 3's new ink inspiration week! Every day, we'll be sharing projects here on the blog so make sure you visit us daily for new projects and inspiration. Also, if you leave a comment on this blog post, you'll have a chance to win a $25 gift card. We will announce the winner between November 7-10.

For today's blog post, we have Lynnea and Ricky sharing a fun project.

Check out Ricky's video he made using the new Atelier inks:

Lynnea is also here to share her fabulous card using the new inks.

Her card today features some pretty ink blending with the new Sweet Petunia Pink and Trinity Teal Atelier Inks. Her thoughts:

I just love the new colors of Atelier Ink! I wanted to show both of them off since they pair so well. I masked off the top portion of my card and blended on Sweet Petunia Pink Atelier Ink onto the bottom portion of my card. These Atelier Inks blend so smoothly! They're just gorgeous. I moved my masking tape to cover the bottom of my card and started working on the top portion. I blended the Trinity Teal Atelier Ink in quarter of an inch strips with half an inch of white space separating them. This is such a simple masked design, but I just love it! I kept the masking tape in place over the pink bottom and added some black ink spatters to the top for more texture.

I used Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink to stamp the cute little peeking kitty and party hat from the Purr-ific Kitty Cats Stamp Set and colored them with Copic Markers. I trimmed around the outside of the images with my scissors leaving a small white border. I adhered them onto my card with foam tape so that he would be peeking over the pink "edge" of my card and added a stamped sentiment below the image.

I thought I had a bit too much Sweet Petunia Pink blended at the bottom of my card and the balance was off, so I trimmed down my panel and added it onto a white card base. A bit of Liquid Pixie Dust on my little kitty finishes the card!

She also has a video for you today as well:

For today's blog post, we have Jenny sharing an awesome project, using the Ink on 3 Reinkers to watercolor. These Atelier inks are formulated so that you can use them in an ink pad for various purposes. But also use the reinkers as standalone watercolors. Jenny uses them today to watercolor these gorgeous florals.

Be sure to stop by tomorrow for one more day of inspiration using the new inks!

For today's blog post, we have Cheryl switching this up and sharing how to use these inks in your planner.

There are very subtle details here but she did some ink blending using Trinity Teal and Sweet Petunia Pink on the side of the planner. She also used the colors with Shark Tooth White to create a subtle ombre look on the two sides. For all the dates and month, she stamped directly using the inks.

For today's blog post, we have Fleurette, the owner of Ink on 3, sharing a wonderful project who is also giving you a sneak peek into a new stamp set releasing alongside the new inks this Friday.

Plus in the video below she shows you how to easily no-line color, step by step with these fun new ink colors!

She did some ink blending with the new Trinity Teal color along with some water splatter since the Atelier Ink line is water reactive. To finish it off, she added some splatter using Shark Tooth Ink as well. For the flower image, she used Fadeout Ink alongside Sweet Petunia Pink for no line coloring watercoloring. Isn't it gorgeous?

Knockout Nibbles Encouragement Card

I needed a quick, easy, and cute encouragement card for a friend who needs a "pick me up," so I reached for the InkOn3 Knockout Nibbles Stamp Set

Since this card has to get mailed across the country I thought it would be best to stretch myself and create a one layer card. It was hard, but I did it! Haha! I stamped the little critter and sentiments from the Knockout Nibbles Stamp Set onto a piece of white cardstock using Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink - my FAVORITE ink for Copic coloring! I used just a few colors of Copic markers to color in the little critter.

Just because this is a one layer card doesn't mean it has to be boring! I grabbed a couple of coordinating Copic colors - yellow and blue - and just started dotting around my image. I did a big dot and then a bunch of little dots, another big dot and a bunch more little dots, and repeated with both colors until I had the look I wanted.

It's not a card from me if it doesn't shimmer! I keep a bit of Liquid Pixie Dust in a Small Fine Tip Water Brush and painted on some magical shimmer onto the critter to finish the card! I hope you're inspired!

No-Line Colouring with Erica

 Hi!

Can you believe it’s already December?? At one point it felt like we were just threading water in March, which became Mapril, which then morphed into Mapriay (March + April + May) and now here we are in the final month of 2020. I’m torn over this year being over. It kind of feels like we deserve a do-over. Or am I the only one??

Today’s card is a simple ‘hugs’ card as I am totally starved for hugs from my family and friends. It’s been so long since it’s been normal to be able to just hug someone, so I’m sending some paper hugs instead of the real thing, until it’s safe again.

I’ve used two stamp sets for this card, and with the help of a MISTI, I’ve stamped the flowers from the BeYOUtiful and Little Birdie sets along the edges of it. I used Fadeout Ink as I wanted to do some no-line water colouring with the Atelier re-inkers. I have a palette with reinkers mixed with Liquid Pixie Dust, to make shimmery water colours, and I grabbed this to colour the panel with.

I did film a lot of the card making, but unfortunately due to the fact I can’t plug my phone in to charge any longer, there is something wrong with the charging port, the battery ran out mid-colouring. Of course I didn’t realise either, so I could have stopped, charged it up and then carried on. Oh no. No such luck for me. So the video is only covering the first half of the colouring, but it’s better than nothing, right?

When the colouring was done, and it was all dry, I stamped up ‘hugs’ from the Racoon Hugs set with Blackout Detail ink. I used an old-fashioned glue stick on the card base and after adding the panel, I put the whole thing under my diecutting machine as a weight to make sure it dried flat.

Well, that’s it from me, I hope you like the card and found some inspiration here with me today. Lots of love and happy crafting from Erica
