Coloring With Ink Blending

Ink blending with Atelier Inks is such a quick way to add color to images!

I love when small stamp sets go a long way! The Here for You Stamp Set is a mini set with the most gorgeous floral image and small sentiments. I stamped the image with Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink and heat embossed it with Crystal Clear Fine Detail Embossing Powder. I used Marilyn Red Atelier Ink and Goddess Green Atelier Inks to blend color onto the image and cut it out with my scissors. I masked off the edges of a card and added a bit of Black Glitz Glitter Gel over a polka dot stencil and popped up my flower on top.

I stamped a sentiment from the Here for You Stamp Set with Juicy Watermark Embossing Ink and heat embossed it with Arctic White Fine Detail Embossing Powder. I trimmed the sentiment out into a strip and added it to the card with foam tape. That's it! Thanks for joining me!

Here For you Card

I really love the details in the flower in the Here for You stamp set, it's definitely designed to be used with the Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink!

On a white card base, mask off about 1/3 of the card, then stencil in a background using the Squiggles Stencil. I used Distress Oxide Inks in Victorian Velvet, Tattered Rose, and Milled Lavender.

Then I stamped out two of the flowers in the Here for You clear stamp set, colored with copic markers, and then fussy cut the image.

Next, I die cut one black and one white rectangles. On the white rectangle, I stamped out the sentiment "You are Never Alone" with Blackout Detail Ink, then on the black rectangle I stamped out "I'm here for You" with Juicy Clear Embossing Ink. Then I sprinkled some Ultra Fine Embossing Powder in Arctic white onto the embossing ink, and heat set.

Assemble the card as shown in the picture above. There you have it! A beautiful card to let your friend know that you're always there for them!

Copic Colors:
Purples: RV99, RV95, RV93, RV91

Here For You

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Ink on 3’s stamp set named Here for You stamp set. This is one of three floral stamp sets that recently released from Ink on 3 and I think it's the most intimidating one because of all the layers and details.

For today's card, I decided to color in the floral from the Here for You stamp set in some cool gray markers (C7, C5, C3, C1).

To create the background, I used Ink on 3's Atelier Inks in Marilyn Red, Marigold Orange, Bee Sting Yellow, Goddess Green, Peacock Blue and My Jam Purple to create a simple watercolor background. I wet my Canson XL watercolor paper in the areas I wanted to add watercolors and then dropped the colors in rainbow order into the rectangular area.

For the sentiments, I stamped two sentiments from the Here for You stamp set using Juicy Ink and added Artic White embossing powder and heat set it. Once my panel was ready, I popped it up on foam tape on top of a piece of black cardstock.

To finish off the card, I added some Trinity Stamps Gold baubles to the panel and I think it really pulled the card together.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!

Dogwood Flower Copic Coloring

Hi, everyone it's Lynnea! I combined a couple of my favorite stamp sets from InkOn3 on this easy card! Dogwood flowers are just so gorgeous!

The Posies Stamp Set has the most gorgeous vase image and I have used it multiple times in InkOn3 projects - I just love it! I decided to slightly alter the Dogwood Flower image to make it a bouquet of flowers fit for the vase! I stamped my images using Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink, but was careful to avoid inking the bottom portion of the dogwood stem so that I could extend the lines a bit. I colored the images with Copic Markers and cut them out.

I wanted to create a simple background so I adhered a stencil from my stash onto a white card base and mixed together Bee Sting Yellow and Marigold Orange Atelier Inks to create a pretty honey color. It's very subtle, but you can see areas of darker and lighter color across the background. SO pretty in real life!

I added a white heat embossed sentiment strip using a sentiment from the new Here for You Stamp Set and finished off the card with a white border and some gems. Thanks for joining me!

Triple Roses

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Ink on 3’s stamp set named Triple Roses stamp set.

I thought for this card I'd play around with watercoloring but I'm not the best at it, so I decided to heat emboss my image. I stamped the Triple Roses with Juicy Ink and used Black as Night embossing powder to heat emboss so watercoloring would be a bit easier.

For this card, I decided to use the re-inkers to do the watercolor. I used Trinity Teal and Goddess Green for the leaves and then Marilyn Red, Marigold Orange, Bee Sting Yellow, and My Jam Purple for the roses and the small blooms. I just added water to some certain areas first and then added drops of each color and let them naturally blend.

I used the sentiments from Here for You stamp set, which I stamped on black cardstock with Juicy Ink and then added Artic White embossing powder.

Triple Rose, Mini Slimline, Friendship Card,Ink On 3,Card Making, Stamping, Die Cutting, handmade card, ilovedoingallthingscrafty, Stamps, how to,

Hello friends, Ilda here 👋

Today I have a cute Triple Rose Mini Slimline Friendship Card to share with you, featuring both of the latest stamp sets released from Inkon3. I think I may have a new obsession with mini Slimline's, they are so cute IRL and way easier to photograph!

CARD RECIPE
  • Stamp TRIPLE ROSE out onto Copic-friendly paper first using BLACKOUT INK. (This just makes it easier to see your lines and won't damage your Copics if you emboss first) Leave the stamp in the positioning tool as you be using it again later.
  • Color in Roses using Copic markers or desired medium.

  • Place the colored image back into the stamping tool.
  • Ink up stamp this time with JUICY INK and stamp image again.

 Hi everyone!

It's Erica back on the Ink On 3 blog today, and I have finally got my yummy new goodies! I had to use the gorgeous Triple Rose stamp set, right away.

Ambitiously, I decided to go for a no-line colouring look. I know, nuts, right? Especially while feeling a bit rusty, but apparently there was no stopping me, so I stamped up the image with Fadeout Ink on watercolour paper.

I had some new watercolours to swatch and try out, these are Meeden 48 colour half pan, and in all honestly, I thought I was buying a 48 colour empty pan tin. I was more than a little surprised when they showed up and actually had colours in them, lol! Happy surprise, though.

Using these colours, I coloured in the lovely floral image. The pinks were used for two of the roses, and I used a purple-ish pink on the middle rose. Green was the obvious choice for the leaves and buds.

I did spend quite a lot of time on this as I was feeling slow and rusty, and left it overnight to dry properly, before going back to add some more details and depth. While I did spend lots of time on this, I am not 100% happy with the results but I guess that means I need more practice.

Usually I fill out the background a little with a darker colour to bring the eye in to the image, but this time I didn't. I left it white and clean, but I did use a stitched rectangle die to add some interest around the edges. The only thing I added was a slim banner with a sentiment from the Here For You, this was stamped up with Dove ink from Concord & 9th. Ok, so I did add a lot of iridescent sequins too, but that was it.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed this card and will get the chance to watch the video as well. Lots of love and happy crafting from Erica
